I’ve been a Tucsonan since 2008 when I relocated from Las Vegas, NV to attend the University of Arizona (BearDown!). I worked my way through college at a local resort, where I built a true love for hospitality and all that it embodies. Tucson truly is home in every sense of the word and I am so blessed to have built a life here. During my final year at UArizona, I met my amazing and extremely supportive husband, Shane. We legally married in 2014, and celebrated with our dream wedding in Tucson in October of 2017. Together we have a gorgeous 5-year-old son, Cayden, who brings so much joy to our lives. As a family we love taking part in outdoor activities like hiking with our dogs, Bruce and Libby, and can never resist a movie night at home. The past 6+ years have been spent working in local resorts in both the Tucson and Phoenix/Scottsdale areas, learning from incredible mentors, and truly submerging myself in the event industry. Fast forward to March of 2020, the industry that I know and love, was hit incredibly hard, but for me it was a new, fresh start for something that I have been working on for the last 2 years. Initially, it seemed like a catastrophe for the career that I had worked so hard to build, but I promised myself to take the good from what was presented to me. Now I am creating my own success doing what I love - helping others celebrate incredibly special moments in unbelievably unique ways. As an event planner, I truly thrive under pressure. I love the organized chaos that leads up to my clients' special day and it's where my love for what I do exudes. Pop Weds is a result of planning a wedding in Tucson within 48 hours. Jordan was deeply in love and wanted an amazing Tucson wedding, but being fiscally responsible wondered how they could afford $30k for a wedding let alone a wedding planner to help her. The list kept getting longer for vendors. The prices kept getting bigger for quotes and a whole year of wedding planning seemed crazy in her head.
