Events to a T was created and founded by Tiara Gamez. Tiara’s introduction to the wedding industry began while working alongside her husband, Torie Gamez, for wedding DJ company Sound By Design. She quickly became a lover of all things weddings. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, she moved to Chicago to pursue a career in event planning. While there, she worked for a large corporate event planning company and learned all the ins and outs of high bar events. In 2013, Tiara had the opportunity to plan her own wedding! At the same time, the couple decided to move back to Milwaukee and reconnect with friends and family. Tiara knew the Milwaukee wedding industry well already, but planning and executing her wedding was her chance to showcase what she could do and start building her own portfolio of events in the Milwaukee area. Events to a T officially began in December of 2013. She continued honing her skills, building relationships with Milwaukee vendors, and began to grow her team of associate planners. Since its origination, the Events to a T team has worked with over 200 couples and in 2019 was awarded Best Wedding Planner by Wisconsin Bride Magazine. Tiara’s husband Torie has also made a successful career in the wedding industry. He is currently the Owner and President of Sound By Design, Films By Design, and Events By Design.
