No more waiting for hours in a packed lobby for a simple body art procedure! We keep our front doors locked limiting the amount of people in the shop adding to your personal security. Jinx Proof was established in 1996 by Tim Corun and Karl Hedgepath. It was the first tattoo shop to open in Washington, DC since 1983, and is the premier shop in the area. Our artists offer expert tattooing in a broad range of styles, and we are proud to host a wide variety of internationally known guest artists. Each artist works in an individual, semi-private station, and total privacy is available upon request. All tattooers practice the same universal precautions providing a clean and sterile environment. Appointments are offered 7 days a week and same day appointments are offered subject to availability. The best way to book an appointment is by using our Tattoo Appointment Request Form. In some cases in-person consultations may be necessary. All piercing is done on a walk-in basis, we do not take appointments for piercings. Please call the shop for daily availability. We require a non-refundable $100 deposit for all appointments. This deposit is applied to the final session of the tattoo. This will ensure that the artist you want will have time set aside to talk to you about your design, measure the area, answer questions, and estimate the number of appointments necessary. As a teenager growing up in rural Minnesota, my interest in piercings and tattoos started in the hardcore music scene. In 2009, I made my way to Minneapolis and that is where I first was introduced to the APP, quality body jewelry and knowledgeable piercers. Ever since, I became a huge piercing enthusiast. Body piercing and quality jewelry have been some of my biggest interests and this industry is something I started following very closely. In 2015 I moved to Seattle and in 2016 I had the opportunity to start working at Laughing Buddha. I’ve been able to continue my interests and continue learning from my peers and annually taking classes with the APP. The Enemy Tattoo was opened on May 1st 2001. The name of the shop was part joke and part joust at an established shop less than a block away. This Tattoo Shop was put together the old fashioned way, After 20 some years of tattooing and working for egomaniacs, and idiots who thought it would be super cool to own a tattoo shop, OR people who didn't even tattoo.
