" I have been tattooed at quite a few different tattoo shops throughout California. I have to say this shop is by far my favorite. I drive four hours to get tatted here. The artists are so talented and the environment is welcoming and friendly. Obsessed with the tattoos I have gotten here and looking forward to getting my future tattoos here as well. "

Alycia Harr’s love of art began in early childhood with crayons and pens; she developed a world on paper (and sometimes walls) that fed her creative heart. She once loved to travel and work in various cities and countries, as well as work at conventions such as Saipan, Lady Luck, Seattle and Long Beach. Now she enjoys a rich home life in Grass Valley and is currently basing her professional life out of Sacramento. Jen and Alycia have a long history together, starting with their early days at Liberty Tattoo and then Leonardi Tattoo for several years. Now they are happy to embark on this new adventure together, joining forces as partners this time. Jen and Alycia specialize in large custom pieces and book quickly. Reclamare Tattoo + Gallery, RCLMR for short, opened in November of 2012 by local artist Corey Bernhardt, and was Upper Land Park's first Tattoo Studio. Since then, the shop has welcomed a team of artists from all over Sacramento to collectively thrive together, curating a body of work that has established Reclamare as a prominent part of the neighborhood. In addition to tattoos, most of the artists at Reclamare paint, and their works of art line the walls, giving our customers the feeling of a gallery setting as they wait for their tattoos. RCLMR is open 7 days a week, however we are currently operating as an appointment only shop. We cannot accommodate walk-in clients or drop-in inquiries at this time. If you are interested in booking a tattoo appointment please see our artists & appt page for the best method of contact. All of the artists working at Reclamare are what you would describe as Custom Tattoo Artists. Not operating as a Traditional "walk-in" shop, we do not have pictures of flash on the walls to choose from. Instead each artist draws their designs based on their interests as well as the interpretations of their clients ideas. In addition to Custom Tattoo Work, our artists often have a collection of personal flash available to be tattooed Personal Flash is predrawn artwork by each artist that is released on a first come first serve basis, either via instagram or in their individual books of "available designs.”

We continue to have consideration for our clients and seek to establish a space where all people are welcome to feel safe, vulnerable, and are guaranteed to enjoy their tattoo experience. I’m Holly and I’m a self proclaimed badass. Which is why I always knew I would thrive in a tattoo shop versus a more traditional salon. I have always been creative, but eyebrows have become my favorite form of art. I adore seeing the delight in people when I give them amazing brows, knowing they didn’t think it was possible to love their eyebrows so hard. I’ve been a licensed Esthetician since 2014, and specialized in brows since 2016. I trained with Beauty Angels Academy in 2019, learned the basics and now combine that with my own years of knowledge to create a style that screams Holly. Where other people would shy away from making a true brow change, I am up for the challenge. I have learned how to balance out brows to suit your perfectly unique face and I don’t stop until I’m absolutely thrilled with how they look. When I dance you’ll know I did my best and your new brows are fire.

The Exotic Body Tattoo and Piercing is located in Sacramento, California and is one of Sacramento’s premiere studios. We’ve worked, very hard, to provide Sacramento with a unique alternative to the other shops in town. All of the artists who work out of The Exotic Body are well known in Sacramento and they represent the best that our industry has to offer- check out their portfolios and bios! We have a large selection of the highest quality, internally threaded, jewelry available! If we don’t have what you want, we’ll order it- special orders are our specialty. We don’t sell any ‘cheap’ jewelry, yet we have some of the LOWEST prices in Sacramento! Call or come by to compare our prices. We may not be the ‘cheapest’ in town, but when it comes to top-of-the-line jewelry we have some of the most reasonable prices. If you’re shopping around for body jewelry, you’re going to find a lot of difference in the pricing- ‘cheap’ and not-so-cheap. Here are some of the reasons why: The BEST jewelry is internally threaded jewelry- the threading, to connect the ‘ball’ to the ‘post’, is actually attached to the ball and NOT to the post- and it’s far more expensive to produce. Why is it better? Because it causes less trauma to your piercing when it’s inserted! Fewer traumas means you’re piercing(s) may heal more quickly. Think of it like this: After you’ve gotten the actual piercing(s), do you really want to have something with a serrated edge to be inserted through the fresh hole(s)? Probably not. The manufacturing of internally threaded jewelry is much more difficult, requires more expertise and is more costly- this means that the companies who use this method are more concerned with quality than with profits. Internally threaded jewelry, because of better manufacturing, usually lasts longer- so you save money, in the long run.
