Downtown Oakland's oldest running tattoo shop. We have an artist for every style of tattoo that you could need. Sacred Tattoo is available for custom tattoos by appointment or walk-ins, seven days a week. Walk-in tattoos can be custom designs as well, but we encourage you to make an appointment for large or complex designs. The shop is open every day except for Tuesday. We open at noon and take our last tattoo at 7pm. We are always accept walk-ins when we have time. Please note, we have a strict 48-hour cancelation/reschedule policy for all appointments. Failure to provide 48 hour notice of cancelation or reschedule will result in forfeiture of deposit. Deposits are required for all appointments. We cannot take appointments over the phone unless a deposit has already been made. Lianna is a Bay Area born and raised tattoo artist, sought after for her botanical and fine line tattoos. Each tattoo is visualized and placed with intention. Her love for flowers started at a young age, having plenty of direction from a botanical-loving family background. After completing her tattoo apprenticeship in San Francisco, Lianna moved to Oakland to become a full time artist at Diving Swallow Tattoo in 2018. She has tattooed in New York City, Berlin, and San Diego and is now settling into her new collab Tattoo + Flower shop, With My Sister, opening soon. Her tattoo process begins by consulting 1:1 via email then thoughtfully plans the vision before getting started. Pretty In Ink Alameda was founded in 2015 by senior artist Amy Muller. We opened a second location in Oakland in 2019 to accommodate our growth. Our Alameda studio is a cozy and private suite upstairs in the IOOF building in the heart of downtown Alameda just off Park street. Our Oakland studio is located in the bustling uptown neighborhood on 24th and Telegraph. Both locations are queer run and have a number of trans and non binary tattooers. In Alameda we are located on the second floor of the IOOF building. There is an elevator up to the second floor. and a small lip at the entrance of our suite. If you use a wheelchair, give your artist a heads up in case any elevator maintenance is scheduled during your appointment. The bathroom at our Alameda location cannot fit a wheelchair but the restaurant downstairs is able to accommodate. In Oakland we are on ground floor and our bathroom has an entrance wide enough to accommodate most chairs. If you wish to work with one of our Alameda artists but are concerned about accessibility, let your artist know and they will be happy to see you in our Oakland location with enough notice.

" I was looking for a shop that could do my Ashley piercing and I found this one. He charged me $35 for the Ashley piercing, and it also included the jewelry. He was very professional and took his time with the piercing. And had no issue when I wanted to change the position of where I wanted the piercing to be on my lip. He did it fast, and it was almost painless. Maybe because I was already numbing my lip with ice, but even when he was taking out the piercing needle and inserting the jewelry, it didn't hurt like it do when other piercers are putting in the jewelry. I like this shop and will be recommending it to my sister and Friends. "
