    Atonement Lutheran School

One of the Highest Performing Schools in Milwaukee, Atonement Lutheran ensures students receive an outstanding education from highly qualified and caring teachers. We work to help every child develop his or her God-given gifts to the fullest potential. Students grow intellectually and spiritually – ready to tackle any challenge in or outside of school. Helping students increase their faith and appreciate God’s goodness is central to our teaching philosophy. Therefore, the Word of God is taught daily and permeates all subject areas. Meeting all requirements of a high-quality elementary education, Atonement ensures that students are well-prepared for high school and beyond. We believe and teach that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. Through God’s Word, each child is brought to realize the sinfulness of man, the grace of God through His saving work, and the response of a Christian through sanctified daily living. This is accomplished through a study of Bible history using the “Christ Light” series and through a study of Biblical truths in Catechism classes. Scripture and hymn memorization, daily prayer, and an appreciation for contemporary Christian music are woven throughout. Every Friday, students, staff, and parents have an opportunity to worship together in chapel services to be strengthened in faith and to glorify God together. Students learn to decode words, develop fluency, increase vocabulary, and use comprehension strategies through our reading curriculum. They are exposed to literary genres such as poetry, fiction, nonfiction, drama, and digital media. In our lower grades, an emphasis is placed on guided reading through our “Super Kids” reading program. This provides a base for students to excel at using reading skills in the study of novels in our middle grades. Each student is also encouraged to grow as readers through the Accelerated Reading program. Our English Language Arts curriculum allows students to develop the skills of listening, speaking, spelling, grammar, writing, and handwriting.

    St. Philip's Lutheran School

Our mission here at St. Philip’s Lutheran is outlined for us in Matthew 28:19: ‘Go and make disciples of all nations, teaching them and baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.’ Making disciples includes proclaiming God’s Word in its truth and purity, strengthening the faith of those under our care, and reaching out to the people of our community, (including our unchurched friends and relatives). Let us pray for and work together toward this goal. St. Philip’s Lutheran is a member of the Wisconsin Lutheran Synod. As a member of the WELS, we support with our time, talents, offerings and prayers the mission of our Synod. As men, women, and children united in faith and worship by the Word of God, the Wisconsin Ev. Lutheran Synod exists to make disciples throughout the world for time and for eternity, using the Gospel in Word and Sacrament to win the lost for Christ and to nurture believers for lives of Christian service, all to the glory of God. We believe and confess that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the only source of all Christian doctrine and teaching. We believe that the only true God is the Triune God, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that we are saved not by anything we have done, but through faith in Jesus Christ alone, who gave His life for our sins. We believe that faith is a gift from God, which the Holy Spirit creates, sustains and strengthens through the Gospel in Word and Sacrament.

    Milwaukee Montessori School

Milwaukee Montessori School attends to your child’s strengths and challenges in a learning community that embraces diversity in thought and experience. “What makes Milwaukee Montessori School stand apart from other schools?” The answer is simple: we are experts in mastery learning. In mastery learning, each student learns at his or her own pace; no one is pushed ahead before they have mastered the material. Students progress through a variety of lessons and projects and are able to obtain help when they need it most. Teachers track student progress, identify gaps, and give students one-on-one attention to help them succeed. This allows our students to begin reading in their K4 year and matriculate into honors and advanced-placement courses in their freshman years in high school. The truth is that mastery-based learning is the key to transforming the educational experience of your child. If you want your children to be in a diverse school where they will learn the skills they need to succeed in higher education and will continuously apply that knowledge to real-life projects, from robotics to composting to beach cleanup, then this is a perfect school for you!

    Early View Academy of Excellence

The Academy operates with the belief that all children will learn. We have chosen curriculum materials that are comprised of Learning and Faith. It is stimulating and rewarding to move children from passive to active learners. We believe it is the right and responsibility of the children to learn, achieve, and progress to their best level of excellence. We are committed to providing our students with what is needed to achieve these goals. It is our passion and mission to create a school climate and culture whose reality is founded upon the Word of God, using love, discipline, sound educational practices and requiring outstanding performance, strong family involvement, and standards of becoming excellent through the knowledge and practices of Biblical Principles. The work that we are endeavoring to do by the grace of God is challenging and rewarding. All of our students represent an opportunity to develop a “whole life,” whose possibilities are endless and whose promises are great. We have committed our resources toward creating an environment where children can thrive, be safe, and feel empowered to develop. Early View Academy of Excellence includes the families we serve and their children, Mt. Zion Assembly church family, and our staff and administrators. It is a work of love and complete focus on the development of a consciousness toward the Lord Jesus Christ, because, “education without salvation is just information.” We have the word “excellence” in our school’s name because we truly desire and strive to see excellence demonstrated in all aspects of our organization. This year marks the end of our 18th year as a school, and we yet have a strong vision to develop even further. Because of the recent additions to our building of: The New Gym, Library, 6 Classrooms, New Kitchen, Commons Area, Office, and Lounge, we are excited about the ability to broaden our scope of activities and involvement. Founder Dr. Bishop Ear Parchia Sr.
