Thank you for your interest in Louisville Collegiate School. If you are searching for a school where your child will be known, challenged, encouraged, and loved, then you have found the right place. A Collegiate education prepares students for life through intentional curriculum design, real-world experiences, and authentic relationships. I entered the hallways of Collegiate for the first time over 29 years ago as a student and have been a part of Collegiate ever since as an alumni, parent to two current Collegiate students, volunteer, coach, and for the last seven years in Collegiate’s admission office. We believe the joy of learning that begins in the preschool years should never get lost as students grow into their young adult years. Our 14-year program begins in Junior Kindergarten with a preschool experience that balances classroom learning with imaginative play and concludes with an internship that combines classroom learning and real-world experience during senior year. I encourage you to visit Collegiate to meet the joyful, diverse, confident, and resilient global citizens that comprise our student body. During the visit, you will meet our faculty and students, observe classes, and experience firsthand the underpinnings of a Collegiate education. Welcome to Collegiate. I look forward to meeting you soon. Warmly, - Austin T. Anderton ’97

Whitefield Academy is a private, Christian, co-educational school founded in 1976. The school, located in Louisville, KY, is a ministry of Highview Baptist Church and has served families in the surrounding Highview area for over forty years. The school's passion is its focus on Kingdom Education which ensures a curriculum based around the centrality of the gospel. Whitefield Academy is a PreK–12 school with over 750 students and 70 full-time faculty members. Because of a small student-to-faculty ratio (14:1) students are able to connect with credentialed faculty members. This provides our students with a more focused instructional experience, direct individualized support and greater opportunities for developing confidence in the areas of spiritual maturity and academic success. Families are realizing the ineffectiveness of challenging their children scholastically without strengthening them spiritually. Whitefield Academy families reap the benefits that come from high academic standards based on strong Biblical principles.

When God allowed our first school to open over 45 years ago, our prayers were for His direction and blessing on our mission to come alongside Christian parents to help them develop their children with a heart for God. Today, our prayer and our focus remains the same and we have been humbled watching God work during this time. Students tell us that they feel loved by teachers, their peers and by God. They see that by seeking God, they have a special purpose in what they learn and how they use their time and talents. Alumni tell us that they were prepared for college and beyond and that their spiritual walk remains a strong or stronger part of their life. College recruiters tell us that our students have a special “love of life” that they bring to their campuses. We know that this is not our doing, but the work of the Holy Spirit guiding our teachers, parents, and students. We have grown only because God has chosen to bless us at this time. As we move forward, we will continue to pray and seek His guidance in all we do. We will also continue our commitment to our parents, students and teachers. To our parents, we will partner with you, recognizing your sacrifices and your responsibility to raise up your children for God’s purpose and their joy in Him. To our students, we will help you achieve your highest God-given potential in your spiritual and academic growth and in the potential of your gifts and talents. And to our teachers, we will empower you to reach each student with love and passion to guide their minds and hearts with a joy for learning about God and about themselves. I thank you for the privilege to serve you and your children. I ask for your prayers for our school, our families and our staff as we seek above all things to honor the One who gave all for us. I look forward to walking this journey with you to raise up the next generation of Christian leaders and Christ-followers. All for Him, - Darin Long

Francis Parker is a secular Preschool 2s – 12th grade Independent School dedicated to critical thinking and intellectual curiosity, where students learn HOW to think, not WHAT to think. Francis Parker’s environment fosters joy, kindness, and belonging so students can become who they were meant to be and contribute to a more just and equitable world. The High School campus in downtown Louisville allows a thriving metropolitan city to serve as an additional aspect of the education that helps foster independence and self-reliance, while the rural, 64-acre Preschool – 8th grade campus in Goshen allows younger students room to grow and explore as they experience the beauty of the outdoors. Francis Parker admits qualified students of any race, color, gender, gender identity or expression, religion, sexual orientation, or national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded to students at the School. Our consistently high rate of achievement testing is a direct result of our child-centered education philosophy and the sincere dedication of our teachers. Our strong academic program focuses on teaching the whole child to build a foundation for learning for life. By allowing children to explore their own interests and abilities, Hayfield helps children achieve their full potential. According to the International Montessori Index, studies show that Montessori children are well prepared for later life academically, socially and emotionally. In addition to scoring well on standardized tests, Montessori children rank above average on such criteria as following directions, turning in work on-time, listening attentively, using basic skills, showing responsibility, asking provocative questions, showing enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new situations. Hayfield Montessori School divides students into the following groups: 3-6 year olds (preschool) 6-11 year olds (elementary) The ideal age for enrollment in the preschool is between 3.0 and 3.6 years old, depending on the maturity of the child. Observing our students at work and play speaks for itself. We invite you to visit Hayfield by appointment during the months of October through April. Contact us to observe a class in progress.

Our kindergarten through eighth grade students are bright and talented individuals who are challenged by a learning difference like dyslexia or ADHD. Many of our students experience great difficulty with mathematics (dyscalculia), written expression (dysgraphia), auditory processing deficits, and extremely deficient organizational skills. The de Paul School is not the right school for students on the autism spectrum; however, we may extend enrollment to children who demonstrate an academic, organizational, social, and communication skills profile which aligns with our student body and classroom expectations. This is often the case in those children diagnosed as Level 1 or those considered high-functioning. The de Paul School is not the appropriate placement for students who possess cognitive deficits, who have exhibited chronic behavioral difficulties and/or defiance, or who struggle as a result of emotional challenges such as extreme anxiety. Every child learns differently, and at The de Paul School, our mission is simple. We provide a caring and supportive educational environment for bright, talented students who are challenged by a learning difference. The de Paul School was established to meet the unique needs of our kindergarten through eighth-grade students. This includes students who are challenged by mathematics, written expression, auditory processing deficits, and extremely deficient organizational skills. This also includes those who have been diagnosed with dyslexia or ADHD. Because we realize that every child learns differently, we teach differently. This is why our teaching methods are custom for every student to support their success. Learn more about our unique program at The de Paul School by reading the information below.
