Education at Westminster School is innovative, carefully structured and child centered. Westminster values the wide range of backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences that its children, parents, faculty and staff bring to our school. Westminster School is an independent, coeducational, non-sectarian day school. Westminster teachers encourage children to ask questions, to challenge themselves and to be creative within the boundaries of a caring and accepting community. They provide children with support and encourage kindness and cooperation. Our children are full of energy, hope, laughter and promise. Academic and social development are important here. With a 10:1 student-teacher ratio, our faculty nurtures students to gain a sense of self, purpose and belonging. By focusing on the elementary school child, our teachers are able to respect a more natural time frame for learning. Our children are not rushed to grow up. Comfortable in the smaller, home-like environment of Westminster, our students have ample time to grow, learn, make mistakes, recover and try new things within a loving, accepting atmosphere. Both in good times and in bad, they are buoyed by the support and friendship of a community specifically designed, created and focused, not on a high school, but on children like yours. Westminster School is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest (ISAS). ISAS, a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) Commission on Accreditation that has voluntarily submitted to a rigorous and impartial review of its accreditation program and demonstrated its adherence to the Commission's Criteria for Effective Independent School Accreditation Practices. ISAS is commended by NAIS for the quality of the Association's accreditation program for its Member Schools.

The first thing we would like to say is, thank you for choosing to consider Antioch Christian Academy for your Christian education needs. We know there are many great options for Christian education, and we look forward to the opportunity to partner with your family. Since 1996, Antioch Christian Academy has been partnering with families to provide a Christ centered program of excellence, to support actively involved parents in their God-given responsibility to train their children to glorify God and to be fully equipped as moral, intelligent, productive, and responsible citizens to serve and witness to the world in which they live. “Antioch Christian Academy is a non-denominational, faith-filled, grace-based, primary and secondary school. As you can see from our mission statement, we believe that our students will stand out as excellent in all areas, because they are filled with the overcoming, transformative, love and life of Jesus Christ.” As you can see from our mission statement above, one of our foundational principles is the idea of partnership. We know that scripturally, God has given the responsibility of education and training in righteousness to parents. We know that it is a great privilege and a great responsibility when a family considers us to send their child for education. We firmly believe that this education process should be a partnership between parents and the school. We know that we cannot successfully educate a child without this partnership from home, and reciprocally, that parents want to know that the education their child is receiving is in line with the values that are instilled at home. So what do we mean when we say “partnership?” In the old testament, they used the term covenant, which meant that both sides, when they came into covenant, would look for every possible way to make sure the other side was successful. In the new testament, Jesus told us that if any two people would agree about anything on earth, that His Father in heaven would do it. Partnership is an incredibly powerful force. We want you to know that if you partner with our school, that we will do everything we can to help your family be successful, and we know that our families will reciprocate to do everything they can to make ACA successful. We believe that we offer the best value in Christian education, and we know that we will be as successful as the families we partner with.

First and foremost, thank you for your interest in Heritage Hall. We hope our website conveys the essence of the dynamic learning environment fostered by our esteemed educators and motivated students. Together, they make our school a special place to learn and grow. From my first trips to campus beginning in the fall of 2020, I could sense something unique about Heritage Hall. During those initial visits, I wondered if the global pandemic was factoring into my perception of the place as a result of the challenges faced by the faculty, staff, and students. Then I realized that every year brings us challenges. As such, flexibility and resiliency are core components of how we teach and mentor our students both inside and outside the classroom. Guided by our motto – To Learn, To Lead, To Serve – we are committed to inspiring our students to realize their full potential at every stage of their educational journey. In my short time as President of Heritage Hall, I have been consistently impressed by this community and remain humbled by the opportunity to be a part of it. My wife Jodi, son Zach ‘23, son Jadon (Sewanee ‘24) and I look forward to being very active members of the Charger family. I am confident that a visit to our campus will leave as great an impression on you as it did on my family. As such, I encourage you to experience Heritage Hall first-hand by scheduling a tour or shadow day. While you’re here, I invite you to stop by my office in the Administration building to say hello. With Charger Pride, - Aaron L. Fetrow
