After Kami finished her Bachelor of Science in Design in 2002 (The Art Institute of Portland), her career began as a catalog art director and set designer for brands like Pendleton, Nike, and Rejuvenation at Williams-Sonoma. Debra Wilde has worked as an interior designer and color consultant in Oregon since 1988. In 2001, she was recognized by Architectural Digest magazine as “one of the Outstanding Interior Designers in Oregon.” Debra is an accredited color consultant through the International Association of Color Consultants/Designers (IACC-NA) and holds a BA from Southern Illinois University with a specialized major in the Integrated Arts. Debra Wilde Design is a MWESB-certified business.

At IACC-NA, she developed The Core Color Plan, a unique design methodology used to gauge personal response to color and to enhance the use of color in any environment. She is an Oregon native with a background in Real Estate. In 2007 she received the “Coldwell Banker Rising Star” award for the Portland Metro and Southwest Washington areas. Working with clients finding them their perfect home was very rewarding. Real estate provided a “front row” seat to how people live and the design challenges they faced. It was a natural transition from finding the “right home” to creating the “right home”. Love of homes directed Kym to PCC Interior Design Course and ultimately to Heritage School of Interior Design to complete her interior design training.
