Sarah Ward grew up on construction sites. She cannot remember a time when she didn’t have a hammer in her hands. As a child, Sarah’s step father, a contractor, frequently took her to job sites and let her roam free. She would often be found with the chalk mapping out the layout of the home and where she felt everything should go. At roughly the age of 10, she lived in Cambria, CA with her artist grandmother for a few very formative years. Sarah’s grandmother proceeded to foster her creativity by assigning her to study the works of famous artists; followed by museum trips to see the original art pieces in person. Sewing, basket weaving, painting, cooking, frequent trips to Hearst Castle were the early foundation to Sarah’s eye for design. Mostly self taught, she has been a part of the design industry for 18 years. She has an eye for all things beautiful and takes on each project with a passion for creating a space that inspires. Her goal is always a casual, relaxed, and clean look that is timeless and effortless. She loves to mix materials, modern with traditional styles, and old with new to achieve this goal.
Sarah’s family support includes her husband John and three children. Her eldest, daughter Mia, is currently completing her real estate license while working as our office assistant part-time. Her son Matt, a 21 year old college student, is working part time in construction and her son Evan, age 9 keeps the entire family on their toes.

It all began in 1964 -
Brooks Brothers Interiors was created.
The beautiful castle theme you see today was a residential home built in 1924 with adobe walls.
Brooks Brothers Interiors built an impressive reputation and is well known for turning any empty and disjointed space into a gorgeous, masterpiece of art through Interior Design.
Fifty-eight years later, the Legacy continues! After Bert survived having his voice box removed due to throat cancer in 2011, Bert's oldest daughter, Tamara Montana, and her husband, Greg Montana, felt a familiar peace in their hearts as they gratefully returned home in 2011 and took positions in honoring Brooks Brothers Interiors legacy.
Together, along with Lupe Luna they embraced the privilege of closely working with their father every day until his passing in August 2021.
Together, they established a warm and inviting culture of joy by facilitating meaningful experiences internally and externally. They also hold Toastmasters Meetings every Wednesday from 12:00 pm. to 1:00 pm.
With their incredible Interior Design Team they maintain the business' prestigious reputation while expanding into bigger avenues.
Their Creative and Innovative Dream Team makes Brooks Brothers Interiors not only known in the Kern County Community, but also globally.
Allied General Contractors was founded by Ben Atwood in 2006. At the beginning it was a sole proprietorship known as Ben Atwood Construction. Mr. Atwood has been in the construction industry nearly his whole life. He began working for his father, who is also a general contractor, at the age of 10. Working summers and after school he learned construction from the ground up. Starting out as a laborer and working his way up to foreman. Those early years instilled the value of hard work, dedication to the job, and the ability to learn every facet the construction industry has. Ben and his wife Laurie have transformed those values into what is now AGC Inc. We are a hands on company, putting our customers’ needs at the forefront. No project is too large or too small.
We will show the utmost attention to even the smallest project to ensure the quality and dedication that our customers deserve. We are both A and B licensed - License #993799.

Clastic Designs is a custom concrete fabrication company creating unique and innovative designs from one of mankind’s oldest building materials. At Clastic Designs, we embrace the material not only for what it is but also for its past and its potential. Our creativity, along with that of the homeowners, architects, and designers we are so privileged to work with, allows us to push the boundaries of our medium and produce high quality products every time.
In a conversation with like minded individuals, we were once asked to “define our style.” Without an immediate response at hand, it left us to ponder the answer. At Clastic Designs we do not limit ourselves to one type of finish.
WE ARE NEITHER MODERN NOR RUSTIC. WE ARE CAPABLE OF EXECUTING BOTH LOOKS WITH COUNTLESS OTHERS IN BETWEEN.
We do not limit our clienteles options, but work with them to bring their ideas to life. At Clastic Designs we recognize that we are to be both the artist and the executor. Attention to detail, fine craftsmanship, and high expectations are what separate us from our competition.
It is within the search to define our style that we realized that our product is not something to be limited by a simple definition. It is something to be seen, felt, and explored. What we provide is an experience for each client. In every tile, counter-top, and furniture piece we create, there is a story to it’s origin.
