Royal Oak Dental Group grew from a friendship of several US Air Force officers in England and their desire to form a partnership after their time serving together in the military. They acknowledged that one of the greatest benefits of being a dentist in the Air Force was working with colleagues with whom they could collaborate. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and a Certificate in Public Health from ASDOH in 2011 and went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency with the Navy at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He served as Division Officer while at 2d Dental Battalion and as Department Head of General Dentistry while at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune. After leaving active duty, Dr. King continued to serve in the Naval Reserve as the General Dental Department Head for Naval Operational Support Center Raleigh. He served in this position for 3 years before leaving the Naval Reserves.
Dr. King provides high-quality dentistry to all ages in a calm and friendly setting. He enjoys all aspects of General Dentistry and also provides Invisalign® orthodontics and implants. Dr. King is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, North Carolina Dental Society, and Raleigh Wake County Dental Society.
