Every single member of the ABC team is passionate about dentistry and loves kids. That’s the perfect combination, ensuring that every patient feels safe, comfortable and welcome.
In addition to being kid lovers, every staff member is also highly educated, skilled and experienced in their field. This includes everyone from the Dentists to the front office staff. Dental assistants bring the best talents to the table—and our patients reap the benefits.
Who says that going to the dentist has to be a painful or stressful experience? With the right dental sedation, techniques and an expert touch, everything from cleanings to restorations might actually be enjoyable. Families are warmly welcomed the moment they arrive, especially since we’ve kitted out the waiting room with a number of entertainment options.
However, when little ones get into the chair, that’s when we mix quality care with speedy procedures. Our staff is dedicated to providing a totally comfortable, painless experience during each and every visit. Plus, we specialize in explaining procedures and letting your kids get the inside scoop on why dentistry is actually pretty cool.
What with the X-rays, magic of fluoride (in every possible flavor) and an explanation of just what kind of gunky, gross buildup can happen with improper brushing techniques, little ones learn a thing or two about oral hygiene in between checking out their X-rays and picking out their fluoride flavor.

Neighborhood Services Organization (NSO) is a 100-year-old nonprofit serving the at-risk and homeless of the Oklahoma City community. Our programs provide housing solutions and teach skills to transform lives. We offer:
Our Mission
- Transforming lives and encouraging independence through safe, healthy homes, dental care and nutrition.
Our Vision
- To bring Christ’s love to the homeless and working poor and empower them to break the cycle of poverty.
Compassion, or “heart,” guides everything we do. “Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own interests, but also for the interests of others. Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians, 2: 3-5.
We accept that we cannot do everything on our own. We partner with other organizations in the community striving toward the same goals to provide a coordinated effort in our outreach to the hungry and homeless.
While we preserve the history of our organization and never forget why we were created, we seek to have an impact now and in the years to come. We continually evaluate our program goals and outcomes to ensure our ministry meets the evolving needs of the community.
We strive to conduct ourselves with honesty and accountability. We own up to our weaknesses, take responsibility for them and always strive to do better.
We seek to be a powerful agent of change in the lives of our clients. We encourage them to take charge of their own lives and ensure they have the resources they need to be healthy and successful.
We give our clients the opportunity to have a family even when their biological families cannot or will not be there for them. We treat every client that comes through our doors like family.
We believe everyone has the right to high-quality, affordable services. We honor the dignity of every person, regardless of their background or financial status.

For more than 50 years, the Oklahoma Dental Foundation has been at the forefront of charitable dentistry in our state. Established not only for public education but research, direct care and prevention of dental disease across Oklahoma and for Oklahomans.
Perhaps the ODF is most known for two things: establishing the first mobile dental care program in the state, now called MobileSmiles Oklahoma, and providing dental assistants and hygienists expanded duties functions through our continuing education courses.
We are educating all Oklahomans for a brighter tomorrow – from the dental professional in a private practice, to the littlest mouths who are learning to brush their teeth – we’re there in the trenches providing hands-on opportunities for a healthier Oklahoma.
As Executive Director of the ODF, John works to support the outreach, educational efforts and programming of the staff, develop the resources for building programs and assure the Board of Trustees continues to better the ODF to provide better oral health for all Oklahomans.
Stacey manages the continuing education programs, oversees the day-to-day operations of the ODF, and coordinates various special projects.
Melissa is responsible for operations of the MobileSmiles Oklahoma (MSO) program in its entirety. She oversees the administration of the physical units, revenues, staffing, and builds relationships with partners throughout Oklahoma. Melissa creates and maintains an annual, planned schedule of the MSO mobile units and staff, administers patient records, and works with site partners for follow up care/dental home.
Jordan joined the team after graduating from Oklahoma State University in May of 2016. During his first year with the foundation, Jordan served as both a driver of the mobile unit, as well as a dental assistant. As a dental assistant, his role consisted of assisting with all dental treatments and making sure that patients had a pleasant experience while on the MobileSmiles unit. Jordan has recently transitioned to the MobileSmiles Program Coordinator position where his responsibilities include fleet coordination/management and other administrative tasks.
Cerissa coordinates office activities and operations to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and compliance with ODF policies. Some of her duties include supporting budgeting and bookkeeping procedures, assisting with Board of Trustee relations, travel assistance for remote staff and managing agendas for the Directors.

We consider healthcare to be a basic human right. Being uninsured is a huge barrier to accessing the health services needed to be healthy. Lack of access to quality healthcare impacts more than the uninsured individual – it impacts families, employers, and the community. Unfortunately, in 2018, Oklahoma’s uninsured rate was ranked second highest in the nation. Our state ranks 49th in the nation for state health system performance. Poverty, lack of insurance, and lack of affordable care are some of the reasons for our state’s poor health rating. In addition, only 1 in 2 Oklahoma residents has access to dental insurance. Oral health is integral to general health. Oklahoma is our home, a state of beautiful land and beautiful people. This is a place where we care about our neighbors. Too many of those neighbors are suffering due to lack of adequate healthcare. It’s unacceptable to us that people go without necessary healthcare simply due to lack of insurance. Our clinic exists to meet this need.
Good Shepherd Clinic provides consistent, quality medical and dental services for the vulnerable members in our community.
We are driven by the example of Jesus. Known as the Great Physician, he met the needs of the sick and the broken. He gave hope to the hopeless. Good Shepherd Clinic shows Christ-like love to our neighbors by offering medical and dental care. Our medical and dental providers, mainly volunteers, offer patients quality, consistent medical care at no cost.
